Dr. Ellis graduated cum laude in 1986 from Wake Forest University with a BA in Chemistry. In 1991 she graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a M.Ed. in Physics, and with distinction in 1999 from the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been practicing in Chapel Hill since 1999. Dr. Ellis is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General dentistry, American Association of Women Dentist, and the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry. She is currently serving adjunctive faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the School of Dentistry. Dr. Ellis treats patients of all ages.
